What is collected

When you inquire about a work, we collect the contact method and address or number you provide, and your offer. This is stored solely to respond to your inquiry and is never shared, sold, or used for marketing.

The site records anonymously how visitors spend time with the works: which are viewed, for how long, how closely (zooming in, turning a sculpture), and which are inquired about. This is kept under a random per-visit identifier that is not linked to you, uses no cookies, and expires when you close the tab. Standard web analytics (pages, referrers, device types) are collected by our hosting provider, Vercel, without cookies.

If you enter a work you own in the record, we keep your name, email and anything you choose to tell us about the work, only to maintain the record and, if you ask, to tell you when the work is requested for an exhibition or a publication. It is never shared.

If you join the mailing list, we keep your email address, the date you asked and confirmed, and the page you joined from, only to send you new work by email. You join only by confirming from the link in a confirmation email. The list is held with our email provider, Resend, and is never shared or sold. Every email has a link to unsubscribe, which takes effect at once.

Facebook and Instagram

Works are also listed in Sara Paula Hoffman’s shop on Facebook and Instagram. What you do there is governed by Meta’s policies. A link from there to this site carries a tag saying it came from Facebook or Instagram, which is counted with the anonymous visit figures above. This site runs no Meta tracking: no pixel, and no cookies from Meta.

Inquiries for exhibited works

Works on exhibition link you directly to the presenting gallery; any information you provide there is governed by that gallery’s own policies.
